Choose your own adventure with two made-up apps that sync with QuickBooks Desktop through QuBe Sync. Pick what goes wrong and step through it. When a run stops to ask a question, you answer it as someone at the office would, and the story follows your answer. QuickBooks Desktop runs on an office PC, where Intuit's Web Connector checks in with QuBe Sync to pick up work. Every step was recorded from QuBe Sync's real workflow engine against our QuickBooks simulator: the JSON, the qbXML, QuickBooks' answers and the webhooks are what it really sends.
Wrenchly schedules plumbers and invoices finished jobs. Its customer, Fernhill Plumbing, keeps the books in QuickBooks Desktop on an office PC, so every invoice Wrenchly sends goes through QuBe Sync.
The connection to Fernhill's office PC drops before QuickBooks' answer to invoice 1044 reaches QuBe Sync. Did QuickBooks add it? Nobody knows, and sending it again blind could bill the bakery twice.
